Looking For A Remarkable Film? Check Out These Good Film Reviews

By Cecile Navarro

The mass of movie download sites have a outsized library of movies that you can download straight away to your processor or sometimes they are streamed directly to the server. Some of them will offer a software program that will allow you to burn the film to a DVD for viewing from flat screen.

They Were Expendable - One of the best and most underrated of all WW2 films, based on the factual tale of America's PT boat battalion in the Philippines throughout the early nights of the battle. Moving, exquisitely detailed production photographed by Joseph August under Ford's unique hand, with real-life Naval Officer Montgomery. Cast includes Robert Montgomery, John Wayne, Donna Reed, Jack Holt, Ward Bond, Leon Ames, Jack Pennick, and Tom Tyler. (135 minutes, 1945)

The Stepford Wives - A brand new remake of the 1975 movie of the same name. The town of Stepford, on earliest appearance, seems like the ideal place. Everything in Stepford seems perfect. Newcomers to Stepford Joanne and Bobbie are beginning to wonder what is going on. Will they figure it out before it is too late?

The Geisha Boy - Jerry, an incompetent warlock, voyages to Japan with disastrous repercussions. Imaginative graphic gags; there is a cute pattern characterizing the Los Angeles Dodgers and, specifically, Gil Hodges. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Marie McDonald, Sessue Hayakawa, Nobu McCarthy, Suzanne Pleshette, Barton MacLane, and Robert Hirano. (98 minutes, 1958)

Lunatics and Lovers - Aristocrat Mastroianni has a imaginary spouse; an organ grinder persuades prostitute Mori to "impersonate" her. While it's not brainless, it's monotonous. Cast includes Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Mori, Lino Morelli, Flora Carabella, and Adriano Celentano. (93 minutes, 1976)

Faces - Extremely personal drama in regards to plentiful infidelities is one of the few Cassel films to become a big hit. Here is a commanding film with remarkable action, particularly by Carlin and Cassel. Cast includes John Marley, Gena Rowlands, Lynn Carlin, Seymour Cassel, Fred Draper, and Val Avery. (130 minutes, 1968)

Cop Land - Freddy Hanlin is the Sheriff of Garrison New Jersey, a tiny town not too far from New York City. Freddy always wanted to be a New York City policeman, but he is somewhat hard of hearing, so he never could. When internal investigator Mo Tilden shows up in town to look into likely police corruption, Freddie takes up the cause and starts to help out. Freddie is about to learn that the men he has always looked up to might be doing some very terrible things.

Aladdin - Disney's animated Arabian Days storyline is refined through the feeling of an old Warner Bros. animation, as Aladdin brings up a Genie who is exploding with chatter. Williams' comical fast fire chatter forms the attraction of this otherwise conventional tale, colorfully (and tunefully) shown. Cast includes Voices of Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Frank Welker, Gilbert Gottfried, Douglas Seale and the harmonizing voices of Brad Kand and Lea Salonga. (90 minutes, 1992)

My Son the Fanatic - Author Hanif Kureishi once more studies a Pakistani coming to terms with his life in England. In this case it's a taxi driver Puri who is disassociated from his spouse, and whose youngster is dissenting contrary to him for rationales he could not grasp. Cast includes Om Puri, Rachel Griffiths, StelIan Skarsgard, Akbar Kurtha, Gopi Desai, Harish Patel, and Bhasker Patel. (89 minutes, 1997)

The authorized sites are more often than not set up as a membership site. You reimburse your membership bill upfront and they offer you the opportunity to download all of the movies that you want for free. The primary membership fee pays the royalty amounts that are owed to the copyright possessor. These sites most often make use of a special software program that calculates the total due to the copyright owner.
